Day 1

So here it is
Or I should say there it is on those peaks
We got dropped off at the Coronado Trail. To start the Arizona Trail.
We first had to walk a 4 mile hike to the Mexican border.
1 mile and 2 miles after that people were giving us things like, home made chocolate and California Grapes.
There was a lot of climbimg right out of the gate.
It was tough with all the water so we took breaks often.
Our bodies havent gotten used to the Arizona extremes
Nor were we expecting to see snow on the first day.
I literally wasn't even expectimg mountains.
turns out AZ has a lot of them. So on our first night, we camped on top of one. Miller Peak

Shuttle time

Off to the AZT we go with our shuttle driver George or maybe his name was Steve.

7 more Days

Time as always while planning a Thru-Hike seems to just zip on by during the final week. Today is the 1st of February and in 7 days I'll be on a plane, flying to once again another world. A world filled full of Hoodoos, Slot Canyons, Natural Bridges and more. I can't wait for the cold nights and new experiences.
