Day 8

Saguaro National Park is someplace that I would recommend people check out. In the next month, everything is going to bloom. It's already starting to begin.  The Saguaro Cactus is huge. They can live up to 200 years old and they only grown in the Sonoran Desert below 4,000ft. When you say, "Saguaro" the 'g' is silent and spoken like a 'W' sound. It took me a long time to be able to say it. Weather was toasty around 80° and while we climbed from 3000ft. to 8000ft the temp dropped and a bit of snow still lingered around.  Now we camp in Manny Camp at 8000ft in the partial snow and in the National Park before they open for the season.
